About Fuel

Fuel is a weekly blog telling stories about what Arizona Southern Baptists are doing together in our state and around the world through the Cooperative Program. It is not just fuel for thought; it is fuel for our mission. What Arizona Southern Baptists give through the Cooperative Program fuels far more ministries than we often realize. The idea behind the fuel blog is to let Arizona Southern Baptists know the difference their tithes and offerings are making in the lives of real people at home and abroad. The purpose is not just information, but inspiration to pray and motivation to give more. When we begin to comprehend all the work that is fueled by the Cooperative Program, it becomes fuel for us to want to do more!

How could the Fuel blog be used? It could be fuel for sermon illustrations, missions education, or offertory devotions. Think of it as “missionary moments” for Arizona Southern Baptists! We are planning to include stories about what God is doing through ministry partners like the Arizona Campus of Golden Gate Seminary, Arizona Baptist Children’s Services, and Baptist Senior Life Ministries. We will include stories of Church Planting, Evangelism, Discipleship, Hispanic Ministries, and Leaders in action. We want to have stories that take place in Arizona or anywhere Arizona Southern Baptists are on mission. The only requirement is that the story have a connection to what fuels the mission—the Cooperative Program.

We welcome story ideas you may have to fuel this blog or suggestions to make it better. The more input we have, the better! We want everyone to know what is being fueled by the Cooperative Program!
