Iglesia Amistad, Douglas, uses MY316

By Luis Aguilar, pastor of Iglesia Bautista del Sur Amistad, Douglas –

Three weeks ago, we started the evangelism emphasis MY316 at Ministerios Amistad. The adults meet every Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. Studying this program together has been of great impact and the results have been excellent. The participants have grown in every session.

We have various goals that we would like to meet by the end of the program: 1) Take a picture after every session and have a brand new member in each photo. 2) Reward the person who has the most invitees during the program. 3) Have a minimum of three baptisms as a result of the program.

Our youth group also started MY316 on Sundays from 5 to 7 pm. They have had a total of 12 students in every meeting and plan to have one more baptism than the adults. As a result, we plan to take them out on a trip to reward them for their efforts. Jane Carmona is the leader of our Revolution Youth Group.

Our children’s church will start MY316 next week. We plan to have 20 kids participate in the program and have been announcing it at our services. We pray that we will see great results through this ministry.

Another thing that we are accomplishing with MY316 is that our church feels more united in one vision, which is to learn and grow. Thank you, Arizona Southern Baptists, for giving through the Cooperative Program so that the MY316 resources can be provided at no cost, and thank you AZSBC leaders for encouraging us to use this program.
